Notary Service Agreement / Terms of Service
By requesting or accepting notary services from Aviation Administrative Services, LLC, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
We provide notarial acts authorized by applicable law in Illinois. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice, document preparation (unless separately contracted), or legal opinions.
2. Identification
Every signer must present satisfactory, unexpired government-issued identification or otherwise satisfy identification requirements under applicable law.
3. Signer Requirements
Each signer must appear personally (unless remote notarization is permitted by law), be willing to sign, and appear aware of the document and its contents.
4. Refusal of Service
Service may be refused when required or permitted by law, including inability to verify identity, suspected fraud, coercion, impairment, incomplete documents, or unlawful requests.
5. Fees
Customer agrees to pay all disclosed notarization, travel, printing, parking, toll, waiting-time, and other applicable fees.
6. Cancellations
Travel or administrative fees may apply if an appointment is canceled after travel has begun, the signer is unavailable, lacks proper identification, or declines to proceed after arrival.
7. Customer Responsibility
Customer is responsible for ensuring documents are complete and for obtaining legal advice when needed. We do not determine whether a document is legally sufficient.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. We are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate information, incomplete documents, or misuse of notarized documents by others.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by Illinois law, except where otherwise required by law.
By scheduling, requesting, or accepting services, the customer acknowledges that these Terms of Service have been read, understood, and accepted.
